Hello fellow Derry Pathfinders:
As delegates of the Derry Pathfinders, we attended the 39th Annual Meeting of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association on Saturday, May 10th at the Mountain View Grand Resort in Whitefield, NH.
Among the many awards handed out, the Junior Snowmobiler of the Year went to Tiffany Pond of the Exeter Snow Hounds; one of our fellow clubs in Rockingham County.
There were 8 by-law changes up for vote, 5 passed and 3 did not. Rockingham County had a total of 10 voters present: 2 from the Pathfinders, 3 from Southern NH Trail Blazers, 3 from Exeter Snow hounds, 1 from Newfield Sno-rollers and our county director Gary Scott.
This was an incredible opportunity to see just how vast snowmobiling is in the state of New Hampshire. Attending the Annual Meeting was a rewarding and informative experience.
Spring is a fantastic time to visit the mountains and yes, we did see snow off in the distance on some of the mountain tops! So after swatting black flies and mosquitoes this spring and during those dog days of summer that will inevitably arrive, remember:
It will snow again. And with enough luck, we will have yet another record breaking snowfall next winter.
